There is no charge for us to tell you how much we can purchase or consign your items for. We can buy your gold or jewelry outright, or you can leave it on consignment with us. Learn more about consignment here.
If you are looking for written documentation so that you can sell your jewelry somewhere else, we can create a written appraisal for either fair market or insurance value. An appraisal costs $195 for the first piece and $150 for each additional.
Our in-house team of Graduate Gemologists can provide detailed written appraisals for your jewelry. We will clean your items, provide pictures, and detail the gemstone identifications, diamond grading, and estimated replacement value. All jewelry appraisals are done on-site. The cost is $195 for the first piece and $150 for each additional.
Due to the labor-intensive nature of jewelry appraisals, you will need to leave your jewelry with us while it is being appraised. The usual time frame to complete appraisals is one to two weeks, depending on our current workload and quantity of items.
Once your jewelry has been appraised with us, you can bring the item back to us for appraisal updates at no charge! We recommend updating your jewelry appraisals every three to five years to maintain the proper insurance value.
We know that sorting an estate can be overwhelming, whether it is your own, you are an executor, or you have inherited jewelry. We are here to help through every step of this process. Often the best place to start is to schedule an appointment with us to bring in whatever jewelry you have. Every estate and situation is different, and we can help to guide you through the process to best meet your goals.
This may include sorting jewelry (costume versus fine jewelry), determining which items are worth further evaluation, discussing consignment or cash prices for the items, or redesigning the jewelry into something you will love to wear!
If you are working with an estate and need written documentation of values, we can provide detailed written appraisals with fair market or liquidation values. The appraisal fee is $195 for the first piece and $150 for each additional. For items with an estimated value of below $2000, we can provide a simplified line-item appraisal with a basic description and estate value for each item. The cost for this is $75 per item and includes a group picture of the items appraised. Some items may not qualify for this service if they require advanced gemological testing.
If you would like only verbal values of the items, there is a $200/hour charge for sorting and evaluating estates. However, this fee is waived if any items are sold, consigned, repaired, or redesigned with us.

We can help you determine what is real versus what is costume, repair broken jewelry, create new designs to repurpose items long forgotten, and sell or consign items that are ready to move on.
